I'm quiet in person but loquacious when putting words on paper.
I think a person is known by the company one seeks, the affiliations one
forms, and the friendships that bridge differences.
I am a Southern California native, a product of California Public Education and the University of California system. California is where I have invested the bulk of my life, using my time to serve and seeking to discover the gifts of God at work within my life. I've been a lover and follower of Jesus since age 13. My passions are community building, peace and justice, restorative justice, reconciliation and most recently the Healing Ministry of Jesus and the Church.
I grew up along the Southern California Coast and still find the vast
expanses of the ocean to be the best reminders of the immensity of the Creator.
I weed on my hands and knees rather than with a sprayer.
Books have always been the gateway to understanding and exploring the
world but given the opportunity to pack a bag and board plane, train,
bus or automobile, I will gladly go to learn the landscape of the globe.
Blogging and being in Facebook started as an experiment. It was an experiment that led to some odd posts that still hold truth.
